Today’s guest is Nicole O’Dell, the author of the Scenarios Series. Presently there are two books in the series Truth or Dare and All That Glitters (with more to come).

The books are uniquely designed to help tween/teen girls. The books have two endings that requires the reader to choose the outcome of the story. This is a great learning experience that helps to enable the girls to learn from the choices that they make. It also helps to prepare girls for similar situations that may arise in their own lives or the lives of their friends.

Even though the series are all fictitious Nicole’s characters and plots are easy to relate with because she has real life situations intertwined with her fictitious stories. The cool part about these books are the girls get to choose how the book ends. Nicole has implemented two different ending to the story in her book, therefore once the reader reaches a certain point in the book, it asks the reader to choose an ending. When the reader decides, the book tells you what page to go to so that the ending she chooses will end the story. Pure genius! This is awesome on so many levels, however, what stands out in my mind is that when the girls get a practice run. What I mean by that is that the reader gets to choose in the book , and if they happen to find themselves (or a friend) in the same situation they will already be prepared. Is that awesome or what?!

This is a great book and I recommend it to anyone who has a tween or teen in their life.
