Three Wedding & a Bar Mitzvah
I could not believe it when I snagged an interview with accomplished Christian author Melody Carlson! This was a dynamic interview for me and I think the only person more excited about this interview than myself, Melody Carlson’s biggest fan Miss T Bynum (my daughter).
Melody shares tips and gives advice for aspiring authors. She also shares how she is able to keep writing several books without missing a beat. Also, find out what she is working on next.
Melody is a wealth of knowledge and I enjoyed interviewing her.

In this final installment in the 86 Bloomberg Place series, Three Weddings & a Bar Mitzvah, follow the four roommates through the high drama of their romantic relationships.
Newly engaged Lelani has returned from Maui with her toddler anticipating a simple, beautiful wedding to Gil, but his Latina mama has other ideas–and the willpower to make them happen. Kendall, who accepts her “Maui Man’s” proposal of marriage, finds her wedding plans turned upside down by her absentee parents and cruel sisters, who don’t think she’s capable of making a single smart decision on her own. Marcus takes a trip to Africa, leaving Megan uncertain about the future of their relationship, and Anna risks losing Edmond to a flirty young intern at their office. An to complicate matters, Mefan and Anna have just a few months to find a new place to live.
With only two months to pull off both weddings (on the same day!), the pressure is on, and the stress just might kill any promise of happily ever after. Are their friendships strong enough to weather the hassles and heartaches?

I enjoyed Melody Carlson’s books about Grace Chapel Inn and her children’s books about the Fuirts of the Spirit. Great interview! Would love to win this-

Takiela, I enjoyed your interview with Melody Carlson and would like a chance to win her book. I agree that teens need more books written with a Christian worldview. I was signing books at a bookstore lately and saw Melody’s teen books in the True Colors series. They looked great, and I was glad to see another author addressing teen concerns with a faith perspective.
I’m glad to see from your site that you’ve been in contact with Cecelia Dowdy also. She’s a great, generous writer.
