Post a comment for your chance to win a FREE copy of Me, Myself, and I AM!

Me, Myself, and I AM by Matthew Peters and Elisa Stanford is in a class all by itself. It is unlike any book I’ve ever read. It’s the story of me, but it is also the story of God. The book is filled with questions that not only allow you to get to know yourself better, but it also paints a picture of your spiritual journey. The questions take you through your past, present, and your future, compelling intimacy with God.

At the beginning the authors ask that you be honest with your answers (like it or not), write what you really think or feel at that moment. This is vital because in doing so you’ll discover more about yourself and more about God. This book is not meant to make you feel condemned, ashamed, or embarrassed. However, it does serve as a magnifying glass that is being used to focus in on your life. It reveals where you are in your walk of faith.

There are a variety of questions that are being asked throughout the book, some are serious, some are humorous, and some provoke deep thought, but all are encompassing you and the Lord. As I read through the book and answered the questions, I cried and laughed. I realized there is much more to God than I could possibly think because I am confined to the humanness of my mind. I also learned that there are some areas that I need to improve. This book definitely puts life (the grand scheme of things) into perspective. I absolutely loved the book and would recommend it to anyone that desires a closer walk with the Lord, and to those who want to work on become a better Christian. Reason being is, when you are honest with yourself, others become more receptive of the light of Christ in your life. I think this would also make a great gift for the person who is a non-believer. It would be a way for you to be a witness without saying a word (smile).
