Mason shares his story of how he suffer through the grief process after loosing his to cancer.

In our society, why is it that men are taught to hide their feelings or that crying somehow means that they are less of a man? I recently saw on a bumper sticker “Real Men Cry.” I thought WOW what a powerful statement.

The transparency of tears makes causes vulnerability. To be vulnerable means capable of being physically or emotionally wounded. Men like to show strength not weakness. They deal with their feelings when they are alone or most often internalize them which can bring about more problems. Therefore most men think that if they don’t cry then it implies that they are macho and tough or incapable of being wounded.

Thomas wrote this book to help other men deal with their feelings after the loss of a loved one. He tells an incredible story of how he overcame grief. It was hard. He cried. It was a process. However, he found hope again.

This book is not only for men. Women have enjoy the encouragement of Mason’s book as well. If you or someone you know would benefit from this book post a comment below to be entered for a chance to win a FREE copy!
