A Christianity Today survey found that 23% of the 300 pastors who responded admitted to sexually inappropriate behavior with someone other than their wives. With the rise of social media, 66% cite Facebook as the primary source for online divorce evidence. Not just an issue for celebrities or politicians, infidelity is a regular problem for married couples across the country.

“You never forget the day that changes your life forever,” says author and speaker Cindy Beall. For Cindy it was the day when she listened in disbelief as her husband of nine years confessed to a pornography addiction, numerous affairs, and the frightening reality that another woman was pregnant with his child. As everything caved in around her, Cindy grappled to find answers amidst the chaos, wrestling with questions such as; is healing this marriage even possible? Should I stay or should I go?

After much prayer, soul-searching and counsel she made the decision to stay and fight for her marriage and family.

Sharing with raw honesty and intimate knowledge of pain and of God’s power to resurrect something new out of the debris of betrayal, Cindy states the importance for couples to:

Seek guidance, counseling, and prayer support when deceptions surface

Help the family heal from the grief and humiliation

Rebuild trust after porn, sex, and other addictions undermine a relationship

Protect a marriage from lies and unfaithfulness

Rely on God to pursue forgiveness and move forward in new promises

Cindy’s compassion, grasp of God’s Word, and the Bealls’ remarkable story will inspire wives and husbands to trust God with their broken hearts and follow His leading, hope, and redemption.
